Today, Kid Rock has shared a video for "First Kiss," the lead single from his upcoming album of the same name. Watch the video above via YouTube.
The video is as American as it gets, featuring Chevy and Ford muscle cars as well as pickup trucks and beer. Kid Rock and his band, the Twisted Brown Trucker Band, are shown rocking out in front of a drive-in surrounded by hot rods. The song finds Kid Rock digging into his country rock side, with the opening riff sounding familiar to Bryan Adams' "Summer Of '69." The lyrics recall memories of a first kiss, with mention of Tom Petty on the radio. "First Kiss" is a guitar fueled rocker driven with pounding drums, and an exciting taste of what the new album will sound like.
First Kiss will be released on February 24th via Warner Bros. Records, and is is currently available for pre-order on Amazon (CD, MP3) and iTunes. Additionally, there is an assortment of First Kiss packages that are available for pre-order by visiting the Kid Rock official website.
