Back in 2005, electronic artist Four Tet made a remix of Coldplay's song "Fix You," but it never saw the light of day, until now. Jon Hopkins recently premiered the song on his BBC Radio 1 show, and you can listen to it above via Coldplay's YouTube channel.

Four Tet's remix version is more laid back and relaxed, with chimes and Chris Martin's vocals at the forefront. Interesting sound effects are scattered throughout while the song gradually swells. Gone is the acoustic strumming and piano notes that are found in the original. This remix beautifully captures the song's essence, albeit in a more minimal way.

Coldplay's most recent release is Ghost Stories Live 2014, and you can listen to that here on Zumic. Pick up the album on Amazon (CD, MP3).
