The Flaming Lips plan to release their Beatles tribute album With A Little Help From My Fwends on October 28th.

As a preview of the album, Electric Würms -- a side project consisting of The Flaming Lips members Steven Drozd and Wayne Coyne -- have shared their take on "Fixing A Hole." With the digital textures, a lone guitar, and Coyne's echoing vocals, the group takes the song into a more ambient direction. The Beatles' song centers around the idea of creating an internal escape from the negative influences of the outside world. Coyne and Drozd's take on the song creates a tranquil atmosphere where the listener can find an escape.

With a Little Help From My Friends is a track for track cover album of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club's Band. The record will also feature appearances by Miley Cyrus, My Morning Jacket, Moby, Tegan and Sara, MGMT's Ben Goldwasser, and other artists. The proceeds of the album will go to the Bella Foundation, which helps struggling pet owners cover the costs of veterinary care.

With a Little Help From My Fwends can be pre-ordered on Amazon. For Electric Würm's latest music, news, and tour dates, check out The Flaming Lips' Zumic artist page.
