For most Foo Fighters fans, a stadium concert is the most intimately they'll ever experience the band. But on Monday night, 200 lucky fans got to see the Foos play at a small pizza shop in California. Rock & Roll Pizza, located in Moorpark, California (pop. 35,000), played host to a secret, 23-song Foo Fighters set, some of which you can watch above. The fan-shot clip contains performances of "Learn To Fly," "White Limo," and "Arlandria."
The show came days before Foo Fighters' first (announced) concert dates in over a year, a two-night stand at Mexico City's Foro Sol with The National, so I guess you could call this secret show a warm-up of sorts. Here's hoping that more stadium-rockers use small town pizzerias as testing grounds for upcoming shows.
