Last month, Lady Antebellum released their fifth studio album, 747. The band is leaning towards a more pop-friendly sound in the record, which is most clear in the party tune "Freestyle." The three of us as a band needed the change. It was fun. It felt most like the excitement we had when this all started. It felt so much like the first record and feeling like it was the first time again. We haven’t been in this industry very long, but in the eight years that we’ve been a band things can start to feel familiar. To have that excitement and that first time feeling again was very special.
