The Purple One has released another song from his upcoming 24th studio album, Art Official Age,that will be available September 30. Above, you can listen to "FUNKNROLL."
Beginning with an audio clip of what sounds like people at party, the song drops into a heavy funk groove with a hip hop beat. Minimal distorted guitar riffs lead into a frenzied solo with hints of EDM. As the lyrics suggest, it's a party song, and it undoubtedly feels like one.
