Paul McCartney's legendary status as a singer, songwriter, and bass player was cemented at an early age with The Beatles. Now 73 years old, he's still putting on great stadium concerts and headlining festivals with his top notch solo band. Recently, Sir Paul shared this pro-shot video on YouTube of his Lolapalooza 2015 encore with the Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard. Watch above.
The performance might be a little sloppy, but it's great to see the energy and enthusiasm of these great musicians coming together. At 26 years old, Brittany Howard is one of the great talents of her generation, and she holds her own trading lines with the legendary McCartney. Brian Ray keeps things rocking on guitar, and Wix Wickens nails the keyboard solo. It's amazing to think, but at this point, McCartney's solo band has been together longer than The Beatles.
