Today, The Front Bottoms released the official music video for their track "Ginger" off of last year's Back on Top LP. Watch it above on YouTube.

"Ginger," one of the highlights on Back on Top, is a catchy alt-rock jam with pop-punk vibes. Its new video, directed by Marlon Brandope, is a quirky take on '80s teen movies, following the adventures of a high-school girl as two boys fight for her affection. References to films like The Breakfast Club, Back to the Future, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off abound, complete with period costumes and reimagined versions of iconic scenes. The video takes on a whole new meaning when you consider that the song is supposedly about a dog named Ginger, and not a typical love story!
