Today, Blur fans have been treated to some pretty exciting news. The British rockers have announced they will be releasing a new album titled The Magic Whip that will be released on April 27th. They have also shared a new song from that album, with an accompanying lyrics video. Above, listen to their new track, "Go Out."

"Go Out" is primarily driven with strong basslines and steady drumming. Sound effects mixing with distorted guitars occasionally rise to the surface, and Damon Albarn shows a minimalist, punk-inflected vocal technique.

The video, directed by Tony Hung, shows an Asian woman mixing ingredients together to make delicious looking ice-cream. The subtitles are half in English, half in Chinese.

The Magic Whip will be the band's first album since 2003's Think Tank. It is currently available for pre-order on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes, via Parlophone.
