Black Sabbath's new music video for "God Is Dead?" was released earlier today. The epic 9 minute video is as heavy and dark as the music it accompanies:
Set mainly in New York City, we see images of the band projected around Times Square. As characters around the city go about their lives with varying degrees of awareness, Ozzy sings about a world that's seemingly been consumed by evil as his own faith helps him make it through the night. It's a disturbing look at a world that's largely lost connection with deep rooted values and morality as evidenced by scenes of greed and war while innocent witnesses stand by powerless.
In the end, is there still a glimmer of hope?
