Northwest indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie shared an animated music video for their song "Good Help (Is So Hard To Find)." Watch above.
The track is off their eighth studio album, Kintsugi, which was released March 31, 2015. The music video was directed by Walter Robot, making it the third collaboration Death Cab For Cutie has done with him. In a press release, Walter talked more about the video:
Crazy to think it started with "Grapevine Fires" 7 years ago. Ever since then, the band has been so gracious in all our collaborations. This one definitely feels more mature but also the oddest of the three. The idea started from a sketch Bill made of a dumb looking guy with a hole in his head
"Good Help (Is So Hard To Find)" is a fun jam with lively drums, riveting guitar riffs, and moving lyrics. Although the song is upbeat, the music video proves to be disheartening as it follows someone who tries to rebel against the routine life for his 15 minutes of fame, but it leads to self-destruction.
