Pharrell has teamed up with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright to bring you the flashy video for "Gust of Wind."
In the clip, the singer wanders through a forest where he encounters Olmec-inspired stone Daft Punk helmets and a troupe of whimsical ribbon dancers. The highly stylized video is a far cry from Wright's usual directorial approach, but the quick cuts between shots clearly show the director's hand. Oh, and the fact that the Daft Punk monoliths begin floating and singing the vocoder parts before flying off into space is right up Edgar's alley. Check it out above.
"Gust of Wind" appears on Pharrell's latest solo album, G I R L. You can purchase it via Amazon, or stream it in full right here at Zumic. For more music, videos, news, and tour dates, head to Pharrell's Zumic artist page.
