HAERTS performed live on KEXP as part of the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City on October 18th. The intimate six song set at the historic Judson Memorial Church in downtown Manhattan included three songs from their Hemiplegia EP as well as three new songs.

The band from Greenpoint, Brooklyn became an act to watch on the indie scene in 2013. They have an "elegiac but warm electro-pop" sound, as they describe on their official website. Their Hemiplegia EP was released on October 8th. Expect more from HAERTS soon.

On a side note, I am proud to say that I actually helped to set up and take down that stage as a volunteer for the CMJ Marathon.
