Last November, folk rock group The Barr Brothers performed a hometown concert at Metropolis in Montreal. Fans who couldn't attend the show can watch the band's performance of their song "Half Crazy" above, via Secret City Records' YouTube (their current record label).

The black and white video beautifully captures the essence of the band's performance of this number. A strong rhythm supplies a hypnotic groove that holds the framework for guitarist Brad Barr's swampy slide guitar playing. The song's tempo rises and falls, and gives way to some serious jamming. Superb video footage combined with excellent musicianship makes this video a must see.

"Half Crazy" is the ninth track on Sleeping Operator, the band's latest album. You can get it on Amazon as a CD, vinyl record, or as an MP3 download. You can also stream the complete album and read our review here on Zumic.
