TV On The Radio swung by The Late Show with David Letterman Friday night to promote their new LP, Seeds.
Their performance of "Happy Idiot" was strong, although the first verse was slightly overpowered by Kyp Malone's ringing guitar. Once the problem was solved, though, they powered through and recovered gracefully with Tunde Ademimpe's soaring vocals leading the way. After the song, Letterman came over gushing about how impressed he was with the performance. "All the way from Brooklyn! Unbelievable. Great job," he said. Watch the clip above.
