Grammy-award winning super-producer and entrepreneur Pharrell celebrated his 41st birthday quite amazingly last night on the Saturday Night Live stage. Williams performed two singles from his latest album, G I R L, "Happy" and "Marilyn Monroe." P.S. - His signature hat was blueish-green this time.
First, Pharrell along with a live band, some back-up singers, and his infectiously happy dancers take to the SNL stage to perform his chart-topping single "Happy." During a hook, some dancers perform their own freestyles and one even busts out a pretty dope "Nae-Nae." Pharrell also cleverly promotes his new album while sporting a jacket with the word "G I R L" in floral print across the chest. Check it out below.

For his second performance, Pharrell performs "Marilyn Monroe" with an all-girl string section conducted by Hans Zimmer. In accordance with his new album and its celebration of women, Pharrell gives a shout-out to his "special female string section" mid-way through. Check out the performance above (BONUS: Don't miss the close-up of his bedazzled sneakers at the 3:28 mark!)
