Though Madlib and Freddie Gibbs have yet to release their long-delayed collaborative album, they've strung together an amazing run of EPs. Deeper, the latest of these, features "Harold's" as its B side.

Over a typically soulful Madlib instrumental, Gibbs crafts an ode to Chicago mainstay Harold's Chicken, and goes into depth about his meal of choice, which according to the song is a "Six wing mild sauce, with all the fries you can give me." Gibbs' casual flow and attention to detail make what is essentially a song about chicken wings a lot more interesting than it seems, name-dropping enough Chicago landmarks to make "Harold's" one of the more unique examples of a rapper repping his hometown in recent memory.

Preceded by Thuggin' and Shame, Deeper is apparently the last of Madlib and Gibbs' collaborative EPs. According to Rappcats, the label releasing Deeper, the duo's album is set to be released on February 4th of next year, and has a crazy deep guest list that includes Raekwon, Scarface, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, Domo Genesis, Joey Bada$$, Ab Soul, BJ The Chicago Kid, Meech of Flatbush Zombies, Casey Veggies and Mac Miller.
