Today is Mother's Day, and to celebrate, Eminem has released a fittingly heartfelt new video for "Headlights." The sentimental track is from last year's The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

The Spike Lee-directed clip sees things from the point of view of his estranged mother. It's emotionally powerful all the way through, with real-life photos spliced in with the footage. Em apologizes for his part, confessing in the lyrics, "But I'm sorry momma for "Cleaning Out My Closet," at the time I was angry / Rightfully, maybe so, never meant that far to take it though / Cause, now I know it's not your fault and I'm not making jokes / That song I'll no longer play at shows and I cringe every time it's on the radio." Watch Eminem wish his mom a happy Mother's Day in the moving tribute above.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 was released last year and you can stream the whole album for free right here on Zumic. For more music, videos, news, and tour dates, check out Eminem's Zumic artist page.
