In a statement on gay marriage, SubPop Records artists Rose Windows have released the music video for "Heavenly Days" on YouTube. We see iconic statues like The Statue of Liberty and the Moai of Easter Island come alive, to the amazement and terror of human onlookers and TV news reporters. Then we see the statues acting out homosexual behavior, as they start kissing each other.
The song is a catchy up-tempo rock tune, with really nice layered guitar parts and vocals that have a nice dynamic quality between soft and jagged sections. There's a feeling of alt-country, but the song falls more into the realm of psychedelic indie rock. Check it out and tell us what you think in the comment section.
