For Drake's latest video "Hold On, We're Going Home," time is spun back to the year of 1985 in Miami, Florida. Drake dressed in an all white suit and open shirt makes perfect sense as the tune sounds like a leftover from the score of Miami Vice. Even the most untrained ear would tell you Drake's harmonizing vocals are only missing dialogue from Crockett and Tubbs.
No need for the two crime fighting detectives though, as Drake and his crew provide enough action in the video. With a cameo from A$AP Rocky and packed with gun battles, a celebratory night for Drake leads to a rescue mission for his kidnapped girlfriend. Scenes of disloyalty and reunited lovers make this well worth the watch. We wonder if somehow the rapper found a lost script from Dick Wolf's private vault.
