With the success of New Zealand singer Lorde's hit single "Royals" it was only a matter of time before comedians took to YouTube to promote their personal comedic takes on the popular song. Los Angeles comedian Molly Dworsky recently uploaded a hilarious parody poking fun at Lorde and her iconic pop hit. She sings:
"Cuz every song’s, like, written by a kid I probably used to babysit
Killing it by puberty while I can barely stay fit
So unfair that Lorde’s a millionaire at seventeen"
Dworsky lightheartedly expresses her frustration with growing older and facing adult responsibilities. The music video features Dworsky dressed as Lorde and a series of clips depicting high school life. Watch the video above and you may view the original music video here at Zumic.
