When it comes to music videos, Bruce Springsteen has made his fair share. As he expands his catalog of great folky rock and roll, it's only fitting that he should experiment with videos like the short film for "Hunter of Invisible Game" that you can watch above, via YouTube.

The film was produced by Thom Zimny and Bruce Springsteen, and shows the latter as some combination between an outdoorsman in the old American frontier and a husband and father in the modern world. The video sheds some light on the meaning of the song, as we ask ourselves, "What is a 'Hunter of Invisible Game'?" The spiritual element is in full play, as Springsteen is out seeking things that cannot be seen.

"Hunter of Invisible Game" clocks in at under 5 minutes on his 2014 album, High Hopes, and on this 10+ minute video it starts at around the 5:33 mark. Before that, we hear cinematic score music as we're clued into some of the backstory about our protagonist. Some shots are a callback to the classic John Wayne western The Searchers, as Springsteen positions himself as the iconic rugged masculine character that Wayne represented for decades.
