Toni Braxton and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds released the album Love, Marriage & Divorce on Motown Records earlier this month. Last night, the duo of R&B superstars performed a steamy "Hurt You" live on the Conan show. Watch above, via YouTube.

The song is beautiful, heartfelt, and complex. The performance is spectacular, with lots of interplay between Braxton and Babyface. The singers begin the performance sitting in chairs, then get up and start dancing with one another. There is a lot of push and pull between the two characters created in the song, and the two singers show incredible skill making the song work. There is a feeling of triumph at the end of the song, as Braxton and Babyface sing "Never meant to hurt you" back and forth. Braxton has told Essence magazine:

I think because Babyface and I have both gone through divorces, we can relate and we can collaborate together on this topic and make it so others who have gone through this situation can relate.

Love, Marriage & Divorce is now available on Amazon and iTunes.
