Folk rock darlings The Avett Brothers played a magical set at the Newport Folk Festival last Saturday, and NPR has posted a video of their performance of "I And Love And You." The song, one of the band's most popular, is the lead track on their 2009 album of the same name. Scott and Seth Avett showcase their sweet and soulful vocal harmonies on this piano-driven ballad, and Scott literally bounces around the stage while getting the crowd to help him sing. The brothers are joined onstage by Bob Crawford on double bass, Joe Kwon on cello, and Mike Marsh on drums. The video is gorgeous too, with sunset views of the ocean and the islands surrounding Newport. Don't overlook this performance, it's a great one.
