New York's own indie pop duo Cults is back with a new single! "I Can Hardly Make You Mine" comes from the group's upcoming sophomore album, and if this is a taste of what's to come, the whole record promises to be amazing. The lead single is a fun song with insistent drums, heavy guitars, and twinkling bells. It's an addictive track with feel-good, upbeat instrumentation, a contrast to the lyrics. Madeline Follin's sugary, girly vocals admit "I don't think I can make it" in this song about a hopeless crush.
You can buy "I Can Hardly Make You Mine" on iTunes now. Look for Cults' sophomore album, Static, on October 15th via Columbia Records.
