Up-and-coming Chicago garage rockers Twin Peaks just released their second album, Wild Onion, this past week. Today, they released the music video for "I Found A New Way," which you can watch above.

The video, directed by Ryan Ohm, is an homage to the 1993 movie The Sandlot starring a group of scrappy kids who just want to play baseball. They're out having fun and messing around when a rival team, with official red uniforms, comes up to challenge them. The clip is charming, funny, and the grainy style gives it a nostalgic feel. The music video is sunny and upbeat, and the positive vibe throughout compliments the song perfectly.

Guitarist Clay Frankel talked to Billboard about the video:

This was filmed out in Indiana in a bit of a ghost neighborhood, abandoned buildings and all. We invited a bunch of our friends to come out and have fun with us and that's what we did.

Wild Onion is streaming in its entirety right here on Zumic. The album is out now and you can pick it up on Bandcamp and Amazon.
