Zedd has collaborated with Ariana Grande, Haylie Williams, and Foxes, with whom he released probably his best known single to date, "Clarity." He also produced several tracks on Lady Gaga's Artpop album. Yesterday, he released his new collaboration with girlfriend Selena Gomez. Watch above.
Zedd's videos usually follow a pretty standard form. The bulk of the attention is placed on the performer, but he makes brief cameos here and there. He has a penchant for levitating geometric shapes. His videos might be predictable, but they have such a distinct style that they can never be mistaken as anyone else's. Zedd creates an identifiable brand with his music, and that's a major part of why he's become such a successful EDM artist.
The video tracks Selena Gomez's night at a club. Psychedelic effects color the video and give it an energetic feel. Gomez is occasionally seen with Barbarella hair. At times she makes out with her own reflection. It's a fun, albeit kind of silly video from the superstar couple.
