"I Won't Be Long" - Beck [YouTube Audio Stream]

The nonstop parade of high quality material that is Beck Hansen's music career added another chapter today with the release of "I Won't Be Long", an instantly toe tapping number that combines mid-tempo retro psychedelic sounds with plenty of modern ideas and production, check out it out below:

The fantastically groove-filled track will be released at a 12" on July 8th along with a 14 minute remix, and you can pre-order the record right here.

Mr. Hansen has reportedly been at work on two seperate albums which he plans on releasing independently, one of which is an acoustic record and another that has been described as a sequel of sorts to the Dangermouse-produced Modern Guilt. "I Won't Be Long" obviously sounds like it may appear on the latter, as it seems to be a continuation of the 60s-based themes of that album.

Beck also shared another non-acoustic track last month with "Defriended".
