Ice T's Body Count have released their new LP, Manslaughter, and you can now here their updated version of Suicidal Tendencies' iconic 1983 song, "Institutionalized."

While the chorus remains generally the same, T and the gang change the lyrics to the verses to suit 2014. Where Mike Muir's original song followed teenage angst and problems with his parents, Ice T discusses being set off by his wife's refusal to let him play Xbox, confounding email passwords, and self-righteous vegans. It may not pack the quite the same punch as it did to punks 30 years ago, but perhaps the line "Fuck a vegan" can become the new "All I wanted was a Pepsi."

Check out the song above and the lyrics below, and watch Body Count's recent music video for "Talk Shit, Get Shot" right here at Zumic. Manslaughter is out now on Sumerian Records, and you can purchase it through Amazon.
