May 12th of this year, James Blake played the 9:30 Club in Washington DC. If it weren't for Mother's Day, I would've personally been at this show. Fortunately, NPR have put up the entire performance online, available in high quality, for those who also missed it or for those who want to experience, or re-experience this spectacular show.

Blake's serene voice on his studio albums alone makes the hair on one's neck shoot up. However, with a full backing band and a stellar light show, the emotion from his bass-heavy ballads is on a whole other level in a live setting. This video is a must-watch for any James Blake fans, or for anyone who likes to see soul emoted through electronic music.

Above is the video thanks to NPR, and the show's setlist can be viewed below - enjoy!
