British house duo Disclosure took everyone by surprise with their 2012 single, "Latch." From there on out, it's been smooth sailing. Above is a slowed down, funked up remix of "January," a track from Disclosure's Grammy-nominated album, Settle. Haitian-born DJ/Producer, Kaytranada, works his magic to incorporate the original track's persistent house rhythm and soulful vocals with his quintessential laid-back, 808-inspired production approach. The result: a perfect intersection between hip-hop and EDM.
Kaytranada's edition of "January" is one of fifteen tracks that will appear on Disclosure's upcoming remix album, aptly titled Settle: The Remixes. Due out on December 17th of this year, it will include some previously released remixes, some brand new remixes, and two unreleased originals, "Apollo" and "Together."
