Yesterday during the Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs game Samsung ran a teaser video announcing Jay-Z's new album Magna Carta Holy Grail which will be released on July 4th. The video depicts HOV collaborating with Pharrell Williams, Rick Rubin, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland on the new album and describing the overall essence of what to expect.

Youtube Quote:

"Pretty much what the album is, is it's this duality of, 'How do you navigate through this whole thing, through success through the failures, through all this and remain yourself?'-Jay-Z

The preview contains a lot of work with heavy piano parts, which reminisces on past tracks like "Lost Ones" and "Already Home" but the keys in the teaser seem to hold darker undertones. Towards the end of the video we hear a track obviously produced by Pharrell because of its similarity to his recent collaboration on Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" but with Latin vibes as well. There's also a splash of him using some trap styles on a track, so we're looking at quite a bit of diversity.

What's particularly interesting about the new album is the fact that he's teamed up with Samsung for the release. Samsung plans on giving away one million copies of the album 72 hours early through the Magna Carta app which will available for the Samsung Galaxy SIII, S4 and the Galaxy Note II through the Android Google Play App June 24th.

Hov's entrepreneurial spirit is always looking for ways to reinvent the Hip-Hop business and to be one step ahead of everyone else which he describes perfectly in the video.

Youtube Quote:

"We don't have any rules everyone's tryna to figure it out, that's why the internet is like the wild west...we need to write the new rules."-Jay-Z
