In September, Welsh indie-poppers Joanna Gruesome are coming out with a new split EP with British rockers Trust Fund. You can listen to their first single off the record, "Jerome" (Liar)" above.

The song is fun, playful, and fuzzy. It features uptempo guitars and dual male and female vocalists. On first listen you'll be reminded of fellow Welsh indie poppers Los Campesinos!, and their influences ranging from riot grrrl to the British indie pop movement shine through.

The split will be released September 21st in the UK on the band's own Reeks Of Effort label and September 22nd in the US via HHBTM Records. The record is available for pre-order at the HHBTM Records site. For more on Joanna Gruesome, including news, music, and upcoming tour dates, check out their Zumic artist page.
