Yesterday, Jimmy Fallon celebrated his 40th birthday on his late night show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The night took some hilariously unusual turns, though, as Jimmy was surprised by The Tonight Show staff with a few unexpected guests.

The surprises started off with a bang as Seth Rogan and James Franco pop out of a giant birthday cake, stripper-style. Thankfully though, the comedic pair only strip down to their bare chests before music legend Stevie Wonder rolls out with his keyboard. Wonder then plays his classic rendition of the "Happy Birthday" song, ensuing one of the most hilarious dance parties I've ever witnessed.

In an interview with Fallon, Stevie Wonder whips out his chromatic harmonica and blows out an impromptu medley of "Fingertips" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb." Wonder also talks about going on tour this November where he will be preforming Songs in the Key of Life and hopefully a few bonuses.

Per Jimmy Fallon's request, Stevie Wonder then performs his 1976 hit "Sir Duke." Backed by talented in-house band, The Roots, Wonder rocks out behind his keyboard, providing for an infectiously entertaining performance. In an web exclusive bonus performance, Stevie comes back to the stage for "All Day Sucker." This time joined by singer Kim Hill on backup vocals, The Roots and Mr. Wonder give a 5-minute performance full of pure funk. Watch all of the interview, performances, and surprise shenanigans above.
