Legendary guitarist and singer-songwriter Joe Walsh has added North American tour dates for July, August, and September that are being billed as Walsh Toor 2016. The opening act for these shows will be JD & the Straight Shot.
Walsh's band will feature a three guitar attack including Chad Cromwell and Waddy Wachtel. The additional musicians will be Larry Young on bass, Jimmy Wallace on keyboards, Joe Vitale on drums, and DJ Clayton Janes. Leslie Fuller, Lois Mahalia, Windy Wagner, and Rickey Washington will provide background vocals. On Joe's official website, he offered his thoughts about the upcoming tour and band:
I decided to round up great players that I’ve played with in the past, like Joe, Waddy, Chad and Ricky. These guys know my music and I’m very comfortable playing with them. I think this band is the best I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t feel that the One Hell of a Night Tour should be the end based on how we are all playing.
