British soul singer Joss Stone is in court today providing evidence against Kevin Liverpool and Junior Bradshaw and their alleged plot to kill her. Stone revealed that she was unaware of this alleged plot until she was visited by the police later that day of the arrest.
In June 2011, Liverpool and Bradshaw, both from Manchester, were charged with the plot to murder Joss Stone when suspicious neighbors spotted them outside of her home in Devon, UK. The pair, at the time of the arrest, had numerous weapons in their car - including knives, a hammer, and a samurai sword. According to the British Channel 4 News, Liverpool and Bradshaw are allegedly involved with a gang and they disapproved of the singer being invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.
According to The Independent, on the matter of security, Stone said, "I've lived in Devon for a long time and nobody really shuts their door...I didn't really have a lock on my door...but I do now."
Kevin Liverpool and Junior Bradshaw are both denying charges of conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
