The Memphis rap star started things off with "Talkin' Bout" with Wiz Khalifa performing live beside him. It's always a little strange when rappers half-heartedly sing along with a pre-recorded chorus / hook, as Juicy and Wiz do here. This is what got Eminem in trouble, for supposedly lip syncing during his Saturday Night Live performance. Otherwise, it's a pretty cool performance.
The second video shows more of Juicy J's charismatic personality. He's got a great smile and knows how to rock the mic. Supremely confident and skilled as an MC, he owns the song and turns it out. The trap beat behind him, played skillfully by The Trippy Band, is a club banger with nice dynamics from soft and slow to loud and fast. It's a crude song about sex and money, but he's able to pull it off as a straight up pop tune that can even get grandma dancing.
