Big K.R.I.T. will always keep the soulful southern flavor coming. After the release of his critically acclaimed Cadillactica, the self-proclaimed "King of the South" returns with "K.R.I.T. 4Eva (Chapter One)."

Clearly, K.R.I.T. has had a long struggle to the top. Over K-Ci & JoJo's "Life" sample, K.R.I.T. raps about his early years in Mississippi, not having enough money to eat, dropping out of school, and striving to be a successful rap artist. He raps, "Yea I signed my first deal, wasn't no mill / Barely had a dollar to my name and I was broke by day two." Luckily, he was able to endure his hardships. He ends the song with the line, "I survived the worst of it, now it's KRIT 4eva."

Pick up Cadillactica on Amazon (CD, MP3). You can also stream the full album and read our review right here on Zumic.
