Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O has joined with director Spike Jonze to contribute a new track for his upcoming film, Her, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Scarlett Johansson, and Amy Adams. Karen O previously wrote the score for Spike Jonze's film Where The Wild Things Are.

"The Moon Song," the title of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs singers' original song, was written specifically for Jonze's Her. Karen O will reportedly join Arcade Fire on the soundtrack, who have previously contributed an acoustic version of their song "Wake Up" for the Where The Wild Things Are soundtrack.

Her, which will star a slew of Hollywood alum, follows the story of a man, Joaquin Phoenix, who falls in love with an "artificially intelligent" operating system, voiced by Scarlett Johanson. The film will be out in select theaters November 20th.
