Kasabian has unfortunately lost another indisputably talented guitarist.  Jay Mehler has officially quit Kasabian to play bass alongside of Liam Gallagher in Beady Eye.  Beady Eye is yet another project of Liam's, marking the third year since the break up of Oasis.

Jay Mahler joined Kasabian during the recording of the band's second album Empire, after their original guitarist, Christopher Karloff quit.  He is now joining Beady Eye after the release of their second album and the severance of Jeff Wooton, Beady Eye's former guitarist.
