Even though it's August, we hope you're feeling some holiday cheer because Kelly Clarkson has just announced a new Christmas album! The pop singer took to Twitter to unveil not only the title of the record, but also the cover art, release date, first single, and even a partial tracklist.

Clarkson's new Christmas album will be called Wrapped In Red, named after a song she co-wrote for the record. According to a press release, the album will include classics such as "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "Blue Christmas," "Run Run Rudolph," and "Please Come Home For Christmas." Other songs expected to appear on the album are "Baby, It's Cold Outside" and "Silent Night," both of which Clarkson recorded over the summer.

The lead single is an original song called "Underneath The Tree." Clarkson wrote the track with producer Greg Kurstin, who previously worked with her on her 2012 hit anthem, "Stronger." The song is described as bringing a "fresh, contemporary sound to this new holiday music ensuring the songs are big hits and evergreen holiday favorites." Look out for the premiere of "Underneath The Tree" in the coming weeks.

In the press release, Clarkson stated, "I'm super excited to put out my first Christmas record. I absolutely love Christmas music and have had a total blast recording and writing for it. I can't wait for y'all to hear it." She also enthused on Twitter, "I have been dying to make this album since I was a kid!"

Be sure to pick up Wrapped In Red when it's released on October 29th. While we wait for holidays, you can also check out Kelly Clarkson on tour with Maroon 5 now, as well as pick up her Greatest Hits: Chapter One on iTunes.
