Country star Kenny Rogers has announced that he'll be retiring from the road after one more world tour in 2016.

He first made the announcement on The Today Show in September, 2015. This week, the legendary singer left this comment for his fans on his Facebook page:

The time has flown by... but I'm ready to make more memories with you on this final world tour. We're busy preparing the show. I hope you'll be able to join us, beginning in May.

At this time, the farewell tour is scheduled to kick off May 13 and extend to the end of July before a short break. The shows will pick back up with two dates in September before heading overseas for two concerts in London in November. The opening act for all dates will be Linda Davis. More dates are expected to be announced, so check back for updates.
