Mudhoney takes aim at social media and people's obsessiveness with fame on their new song "Kill Yourself Live."  Listen above on YouTube.

Fueled with a surf meets garage rock vibe, the high-energy track opens with a lengthy instrumental jam.  Vocalist Mark Arm joins with sarcastic lyrics such as, "When I killed myself live / I got so many likes / Go on give it a try / Kill yourself live / You'll never be more famous / You'll never be more popular" and "You'll live on in digital garbage."  Cleverly addressing society's addiction to smart devices, social media, and fame, "Kill Yourself Live" is another excellent song from the Seattle rockers.

Digital Garbage is scheduled for release on September 28, 2018 through Sub Pop.  Pick it up on Amazon.  Last month they shared the first single, "Paranoid Core."

The band is scheduled to perform in North America and Europe later this year.  For concert tickets and more, check out the Mudhoney Zumic artist page.
