Earlier today, Florence + The Machine shared their first new song in well over a year. Not only have they shared the song, but a cinematic music video as well. Watch and listen to "What Kind Of Man" above, via the band's official YouTube channel.

The video, directed by Vincent Haycock, features Florence Welch in a variety of scenes that range from sweetly intimate to violent. The non-linear plot includes storm watches on television, bedroom scenes with a quick shot of Florence's bare breasts, baptism, some strange dancing, and a lot of dudes. One thing is for sure, her voice is as big and captivating as ever.

In a statement, Florence shared her thoughts about the upcoming 2015 album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, and how it compares to the band's last album, Ceremonials, which was released in 2011:

I guess although I’ve always dealt in fantasy and metaphor when I came to writing, that meant the songs this time were dealing much more in reality. Ceremonials was so fixated on death and water, and the idea of escape or transcendence through death, but the new album became about trying to learn how live, and how to love in the world rather than trying to escape from it. Which is frightening because I’m not hiding behind anything but it felt like something I had to do.

How Big How Blue How Beautiful is due out in early June of 2015. Pre-order the album on iTunes.
