So, is this REALLY the end of the road?
KISS, one of music's most exciting and theatrical rock bands for the past 45 years, has added 2019 dates for North America that are being billed as End of the Road.
The U.S. shows are scheduled to begin in January while the European leg will begin in May, and will feature one of rock's most exciting acts performing in large-scale venues. The new concerts will pick up in August. Stay tuned, we will be updating this page if additional concerts or information becomes available.
The band shared a comment about the upcoming concerts on their website:
All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years. This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in… Unapologetic and Unstoppable.
The band lineup currently features original members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons with guitarist Tommy Thayer (who has been in the band since 2002) and drummer Eric Singer (who has been in the band on-and-off since 1991 and full-time since 2004). The other two original members, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, have been estranged from the group for over a decade although rumors have been percolating that they may be involved in this tour.
