Today, Wiz Khalifa released his video for "KK," a weed anthem featuring Juicy J and Project Pat. This song pushes a new weed strain known as "Khalifa Kush," and the first minute of the video promotes his upcoming Under The Influence Music Tour concert, presented by Live Nation. Khalifa will be headlining with feature acts from Jeezy, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Sage The Gemini, Rich Homie Quan, Mak Wilds, Iamsu! and DJ Drama. Set to a dramatic soundtrack, the live footage from previous concerts shows fans going wild.
Throughout the course of the video, we are taken on a smoky trip of UV lights and two topless female dancers whose bodies are covered in fluorescent paint. The three rappers are on a psychedelic set full of color, cardboard cutouts, graffiti art, and bongs. Khalifa is seen inhaling and exhaling endless amounts of pot, as well as cruising around in a sports car. Juicy J keeps his video moments relatively safe by rapping down the barrel of the camera, while Project Pat is momentarily seen with a larger-than-life joint, and then lounging on a throne with a crown and staff.
Back in 2013, Khalifa signed an endorsement deal with Converse to create the Wiz Khalifa Collection by Converse. Quite fittingly, there are four-seconds of product placement with a pair of shoes from the range, and they too have a dose of neon paint to blend into the trippy theme of the video.
Khalifa's upcoming album, Blacc Hollywood, is available for pre-order now on iTunes and will drop on August 19. He is also heading on tour very soon, so tune to Khalifa's Zumic artist page for all the dates.
