Wailing guitars, thunderous drums, and Rob Halford's timeless screams prove that Judas Priest are still masters in their genre. Today, the band has shared a music video for "Lightning Strike," the first single from their upcoming album Firepower, showing the band rocking out in concert. Check it out above.

It's interesting to note that Priest have reunited with producer Tom Allom for Firepower. Tom worked on eight consecutive Judas Priest albums beginning in 1979, including the classic British Steel, but has only done a single live album with the band since 1988. British musician Andy Sneap is also joining the team for this album as co-producer. Halford talked about the production team on the upcoming record with Revolver:

Tom Allom has got this classic metal thing and Andy is a bit more of a 'modern metal producer,' but his thinking is a little bit different to Tom's. And I think to get this balance between that classic old school metal to what Andy's world is was just a remarkable coalescence.

Firepower will be the band's eighteenth studio album, and is scheduled for release on March 9, 2018. Pick it up on Amazon.

The band will be going out on a headlining North American tour beginning in March. For concert tickets and more, check out Judas Priest's Zumic artist page.
