Later this month, Australian synth-pop group Cut Copy are putting out a deluxe edition of last November's Free Your Mind. The re-release will have five songs that weren't on the album, including a new one entitled "Lights Shine On."
The song is super fun and an instant candidate for a summer road trip mix-tape. It's also worth listening to with closed eyes and headphones, combining the interesting vocal interplay of The Beach Boys with sparkling synthesizer and a touch of Kaiser Chiefs.
Look for the deluxe edition of Free Your Mind on July 22. In addition to "Lights Shine On," new material on the album will include "I Wish the Sun Would Grow Today" and “Believers,” as well as the band's recent songs "In These Arms of Love” and "Like Any Other Day,” released for Record Store Day 2014.
