Joey Bada$$ tackles some serious issues in his latest video, "Like Me" featuring BJ The Chicago Kid. While the injustice surrounding the deaths of Eric Garner and Micheal Brown still linger, Joey decides to give us an emotional video that addresses these problems.
The video features the Brooklyn rapper getting tangled in a love triangle which results in death, after Joey becomes targeted by an assailant and the police. The track, produced by The Roots with a J Dilla beat, ends with an uplifting message as Joey and BJ sing, "I pray there's hope for a nigga like me." The cinematic video matches the song's message perfectly.
