The video for Junip's new song "Line Of Fire" plays out like an incredibly strange and awkward version of the "Save Me" scene in the film Magnolia. The vast quantity of awkward comes from a family who awkwardly says goodnight to each other, awkwardly kisses, awkwardly lies awake in bed, awkwardly stares at pictures of Jesus...even eats pork chops incredibly awkwardly.  Maybe especially eats pork chops awkwardly.

The song behind all this awkwardness is quite good, with Jose Gonzalez' band delivering lush acoustic guitars and string arrangements over a steady beat.  Junip's self titled new record is out April 23, and will undoubtedly feature more awkward videos, as this one ends with a "to be concluded" right at it's strangest moment.
